  • At your initial consultation, your Lister House dentist will discuss your smile goals and examine your teeth and gums. If they feel like you’re a good fit for this treatment, they will set about making a bespoke treatment plan for you.
  • The dentist will then remove a tiny bit of your tooth enamel to make space, but it’s nothing major. Certainly not like the shaved pegs you’ve seen online!
  • Then, your dentist will take digital impressions, select a shade that matches your other teeth, and send them to our dedicated lab, where your custom veneers are made.
  • While you’re waiting for your final teeth, we will provide you with temporary veneers, so that you’re not left with a half-finished smile.

How long do veneers last?

The expected lifetime of a porcelain veneer is somewhere between 7 – 20 years. Veneers sometimes come off or chip but, if this happens, they can be repaired or replaced. Also, over time, the living tooth and surrounding gum tissue will undergo changes that may require alterations to your veneers.

Can you match the veneer to my natural tooth colour?
